FastTrack Award FastTrack is an exciting annual program sponsored by Ann Arbor SPARK recognizing companies in Washtenaw County for outstanding business success. Awards are presented to companies with consistent records of growth, defined as revenue of at least $100,000 in 2003, and average growth of 20 percent following three years. 2006 revenues must be greater than 2005 revenues. The 2007 FastTrack Awards ceremony was featured within Ann Arbor Business Review’s annual Deals of the Year Gala, on November 9, 2007. In addition to the award and publicity, each winning company will received two complimentary tickets to attend the event. Here are the 2007 recipients: ONE YEAR ForeSee Results is the market leader in measuring online customer satisfaction. Using methodology developed at the University of Michigan, ForeSee identifies key drivers of customer satisfaction with their Web experience. Latitude Consulting Group is provides proven expertise in business intelligence, business portals, and online communities to help improve operational performance. SRT Solutions helps business that lack in-house software resources by assisting them with project analysis, proof of concept, and software development. TWO YEAR Adaptive Materials is the leader in the development and manufacturer of portable fuel cells and is at the forefront of portable power innovation. Akasha Crystals is the world’s leader in highly decorative glass and stone fillers used in floral display, aquariums, and crafts. Akasha items are found in Pottery Barn, Crate + Barrel, and other major retailers. Martopia is a professional services firm that seamlessly integrates business consulting, marketing communications and public relations to help companies accelerate their growth. Nanocerox is a leading producer of custom formulated ceramic nanopowders and is the sole supplier for GE Global Research to develop transparent armor systems. Online Technologies is a leading independent data center operator and managed services provider that offers a wide range of secure, enterprise-level IT infrastructure, including hosting, collocation, data storage, and backup. Soft-Link International is a customer-driven software consulting firm that helps clients with database, network, and application services for both IT and non-IT clients. THREE YEAR HealthMedia delivers individually tailored behavior change interventions that improve health and wellness, disease management, and medication compliance. HealthMedia’s proven outcomes makes it the global leader in scalable behavior change interventions. Menlo Innovations’ Michigan Software Factory builds software that produces better results, offers a competitive advantage for Menlo’s clients, and is widely adopted by target users. Richner & Richner helps non-profit clients to create comprehensive fundraising strategies that support their vital missions while guiding clients toward long-term funding sustainability. FOUR YEAR Motawi Tileworks creates and manufactures handmade art tiles in the Arts and Crafts tradition, and recently released a new collection based on the designs of Frank Lloyd Wright. TEN YEAR Atwell-Hicks is an award-winning land development consulting firm serving domestic and international clients with real estate development and planning services. With 25 percent average growth over the past 20 years, the firm has grown on behalf, and often by the request, of its clients.
